Looking for a 15" "innie" wheel

As the title says, I'm trying to find a 15" wheel for my 64 that works with the inside hubcaps that were correct for the year. I only need 1, but if you have a pair that you dont want to seperate, I'd be interested as well. Dont need tires, just the wheels only.

Havent had any luck at all on the "classified" section here in the past, so thought I'd try my luck here. Thanks!

Looks like I may have another memeber helping me out with one now, so assuming everything goes through as planned, I'll be good to go. If anyone else had one or two, feel free to post here as a backup.

When you ask a question like this, you should mention where you live.

Buying a wheel in CA may not be such a good idea due to shipping charges...when you live in NC

That is a good point, but shipping cost doesnt matter to me which is why I didnt mention it. 2 of these wheels can ship across the country for about $60. Around $45 from the Mississippi to me.

My only other option is to drive 9 hours round trip to a salvage yard to get them, so shipping is definitely my cheapest option currently.

In the top right corner is a place for you to state your location, it helps members nearby to recognize a “neighbor”. You can easily addit in the Control Panl.

Normally it would show it, but when I post on mobile, it doesnt show. I've got a signature as well that wont show up when I use my phone. If I'm using the computer, both my signature and location show up. It's odd.

AFAIK, no. Be patient, someone will come up with one for you eventually. Do not know your needs, but perhaps consider a parts truck, if you need lots of parts and if space allows? You can always sell unneeded parts.

Literally I'm down to just needing 1 or 2 wheels, a 61-66 tailgate that I'll probably never find, and a couple minor electrical issues to resolve, so not sure a parts truck would benefit me much. Now if I could find one with frame and cab vins matching in decent shape for the right price, I definitely wouldnt turn one down.

I'm waiting to hear back from a classic junk yard now, hoping they'll have a wheel or two for me.

I just received a new catalog from LMC. On page 124, there is a universal -type 15” wheel that appears to have nubs for the innie style wheel covers. You might try calling them to see if the correct wheel covers do indeed fit that wheel. Their part number for the wheel is 48-3611.
They should be able to test-fit , as they carry the reproduction wheel covers, as well.

By the way, the tailgates do occasionally show up here. A couple months back, I got offered one from a guy I purchased a set of 3/4 ton polished wheel covers, but I declined, guess I should not have. As a temp fix, I think the 67 -72 tailgate does fit, but , to me, looks off.

Perfect, I'll definitely give them a call and check it put, thanks.

I've got a tailgate currently, but the bottom corners were rusted up pretty bad. I ended up welding a 67-72 outter shell over it to cover the holes which looked decent, till I regretted covering the old letters. As a worse case back up scenario, I'm considering cutting the top part of the outter shell off to re-expose the original letters, and get a body guy to fix the holes.

Mearntain, where are you located? I will check this weekend if I have one or two. I'm in California near Sacramento. On a side note, is that a repo rear bumper on your truck in the picture? If so, where is it from?

C4TZ-9940700-A .. Styleside Tailgate / Obsolete

1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD

September 1966, FoMoCo replaced this 1964/66 tailgate with the one used on 1967 (1967/72 > C7TZ-9940700-A) F100/350 Stylesides.

ALL the mounting hardware is exactly the same, but the 1967/72 tailgate looks slightly different.

Stylesides: 1961/63 Uni's use a different tailgate as do 1961/66's with 1957/60 "wrong" beds.
