vibrating roof

if i take down the headliner and put dynamat between the liner and and the roof will it stop the vibrating?

It will help. Vibration dampening adds mass to metal. You sure thats all thats vibrating? What kind of car/truck do u have?

no its not the only thing it is just the worst. it also rattles the passenger side door but i can adjust the door to tighten it up. the truck is a 95 f150 ext cab. you cant hear the noises in the truck only outside with the windows up thanks, jesse

Do searches on boards for sound/vibration dampening and there will be tons of info on the subject. If your roof is that bad i would definately dampen it. I use the stuff from Mcmaster.com. Trucks are easy to do and you usually get good results because the metal is thick to begin with.
