I'm new here. I am in fact a practicing attorney, but I'm the kind that works on his own cars out of necessity. Take from that what you will. I used to work at a buy-here, pay-here car dealership as the inventory manager (head porter and key cutter) and then as a service adviser. Have been wrenching for nearly 20 years, occasionally for money but usually for personal enrichment and a relaxing hobby. Ha.
I own a 98 e350 club wagon for my many, many children and wife. I also own an 06 F150 that I am in the late stages (I hope) of rebuilding the transmission on. I am not a FoMoCo-exclusive guy, but they make a solid product, and I even talked my 17-year-old brother into giving up his blood feud with Ford recently long enough to take advantage of a heck of a deal on an early 90s F150 with a 351 Windsor. I'm pretty proud of that.
