What would happen if you hooked the vacuum supply to the vrv directly to the line going to the tranny modulator? I know it would not be correct, I am thinking it would shift very quickly. But would it make it to 3rd gear like that? Would be a interesting test I think. The governor may hold back the shifts a little bit. From what I understand the governor affects shifting according to road speed, and the modulator affects shifting according to load. They both interact with each other, controlling the shifting.
