Adding upolstery foam

Does anyone have experience with adding foam to their seats? I have always complained that my seats seem to have sub-par bolstering. I recently got a set of new leather seat covers to replace the cloth, and there are small areas where the leather isn't tight, mostly in the areas I've complained about. I was thinking I might add some upolstery foam if it's not to much trouble.

My dogs don't seem to mind however.

Be sure to get a heavy piece of vinyl to place between the foam and the springs!! I did this 7 years ago and it's still working.

I think these new seats are all foam.

A competent upholstery shop should be able to add some higher density foam to your cushion and bolsters and maybe do a little custom shaping. Need to be careful to keep the shape with the shape of the seat cover.
