trip down memory lane

In 1980 I bought my first 56. was able to get it started enough to drive it home. No rear window, hood and fenders in the back of the truck, no hnandles, no seats, sat on a milk crate. Put a gallon of gas in and took off. Was having so much fun ran out of gas before i got it home. It is amazing how much gas a poorly tuned engine can burn. Now that I am about to retire, looking for another one

1980 was the last time I drove mine, I was building a house, hauling sand, gravel and lumber with it. Then after we got moved into the house, I started tearing it apart, working on it here and there. I worked in the Mines, and worked a lot. It has sat longer than I wanted it to. Now that I'm retired, I hit and miss a lick at it. Now trying to get started on the body work. I have a lot of great memories in this old truck. It was my Dad's work and hunting truck. Remember well helping him work on it. Hope all goes well for you.
