I know that the 87-91 ones will (there is a little bit of plastice that your have to trim though) case i have a set in my 82'. As for the 96-92 ones i dunno cause the way they flare on the upper corner of the panel might be in the way on the older dash.
I forgot to mention to say that i have pics up of some 89 panels in my 82 in my gallery. In my opinion the older style looks better then the newer one.
I'd agree with mustange70, the 87 to 91 should fit with only minor mods. I had a '96, though, and it seems to me the inside door handle is in a little different location than on my 86...and the panel is designed to fit real close to a much different dash. Seems like it might "fit" but be too different to look good doing it.
the doors off 80 to 86 are different at the rear lower corner i know at least.. because when i did my rockers with posts attached they were for 87 to 96 and i had to bang that part back to allow the door to shut.. take a look at some in a junkyard or on somones truck and you will see the difference..
Today when i was taking my panels (89 panels) to check my speakers i noticed that some of the clips had been broken off and that a few (2 or 3) didn't line up with the holes, i can't remember which ones though.
And the metal piece that the panel screws to (the screw is located in the armrest) must be moved back a few inches so can properly attach the panel to the door.
