Any 7.3 P/S diesel people on today? Got a 1997 7.3 that ran rough, quit, tries to start, but won't... any first steps? Darned thing almost lifted my f150 off the ground when loading it onto trailer!

The truck in question was a 1997 F350 SuperCrew Dually automatic with 8ft. body.
When I loaded it onto a barrowed trailer, the trailer winch could barely move that bugger up the ramp, and as it came up, I hadn't blocked under the trailer. I finally noticed that the trailer hitch on my truck was about 40 inches from the ground. My truck is a 2013 f150 SuperCrew with a 6.5Ft body, ol' F-three-fiddy packs a bit of weight, eh? My truck pulled it fine, once it was loaded (3.5l EcoBoost).
Thanks again for the help, we got her back on the road in quick order, we were using old "Grumble & Growl' to help pull a trailer for moving, and once running again, she has never missed a beat since!
I still have my 77 CrewCab parked at my brother's house, I just still feel weird saying SuperCrew instead of CrewCab..... I associate it with SuperCab, which I also owned! LOL
