Hello, I have a 1979 F-150 Ranger 4-wheel drive and I have been replacing all of the fuel system components to bring it up to good shape. My truck has both the midships and rear tanks. When I removed the side mount tank the mounting hardware was rusted solid so I destroyed a couple of the 3/8” U-nuts during removal, I have looked all over and cannot seem to find these shown in any catalog, are these U-nuts available anywhere?
Hello John89, thanks for your reply. Yes that is similar and I posted a pic of one of the originals below. Distance from edge of the sheetmetal to centerline of the nut is 1-1/2”. I have found several that are close but none with that much depth. Thanks for the information and I will check out the links that you provided.

I think places like Tractor Supply, Lowe's, Home Depot might have some.. Like a mentioned I have had luck at ACE and a local hardware/tractor parts store.
