Question

Engine ID

Hey all,

I picked up a 91 4x4 5spd with a 2.3l. Problem is, the truck has 153K+ miles and the engine has about 90k, it was swapped about 10k ago for emissions purposes. Is there any way to ID the engine, specifically the year or what it may have come out of?

You have to get in there and look for part #s on the head and block.
