16.5 tires
I went to my local tire shop the other day to get a price on some BFG 33x12.50Rx16.5 All Terrain KO tires. To my surprize, the shop owner gave me this spill that the tire manufacturers are doing away with 16.5 tires and wheels!!('

It sucks but thats the way things are going, there are still lots of tires that will work for you . I went through this 5 years ago only in the opposite direction. I saw the goodyear milatary issue 37x12.5 x16.5 tire (hummer tire ) and said got to have them. But tring to find a stock 10" wide x 16.5 rims was a real battle, yes I did find them, I can't remember exactly what year they came stock on camper specials (78/79 I beleive). Anyway the moral of the story is yes the 16.5 is going the way of the dodo bird, but if you find somthing you like just go with it. Sorry I hope you weren't expecting great word's of wisdom. regards Domenico....

I found the BFGs @ 4wheel Parts Wholesales in Denver , Colorado.
