73 C4 Filter Thread Hole Question
I did a replace reseal on my C4 and one bolts would not firm up tight on the filter into the valve body because the threads are stripped in the valve body. Can I use some blue loctite on it? The question is, what can happen it the bolt becomes loose and falls off? Can it cause damage to the trans or will it just sit in the pan? This truck is not a daily driver and just does home depot runs so it is not a primary vehicle and I put very little mileage on it.. Thanks for your input. PS, what are your thoughts on "The Right Stuff' over a traditional rubber gasket for the pan? Thanks.
