High idle on startup?

High idle on startup?
OK, hot or cold, on startup, the truck will idle about 1200 until I blip the throttle or let it warm up for about a minute until it drops to 800. Why won't it start and then idle at 800 immediately? I recently cleaned the idle air bypass.

Yes, that is normal. Both your trucks are in the warm-up mode when they do that. The colder the engine is the longer the RPM will stay up. It;s better for your engine, to let them go through the warm-up cycle, instead of stepping on the gas to stop it. Hope this helps!!!
