My name is Chris. I've had my '04 for 6 years now. All it has is a leveling kit, and the metric equivalent of 35x11.5x18. I'm wanting to lift it. I'll start a thread later if needed, but was wondering if someone could post a link to a lift kit thread or anything like that. I tried using the search, but couldn't really find what I was looking for. I'm surprised there's not a sticky just for lift kits. I'm leaning towards a 6". But I'd like to see pics, and maybe info on what permanent modifications where needed. And if anyone was able to run their stock wheels. The wheels are my biggest hang up. I despise most aftermarket wheels. They usually either look to "trashy" or "blingy". Lol
Rough country makes a good kit. Not sure the details because I just have a leveling kit and that's enough for me, but If I was gonna do one, that's where I'd start. Don't skimp on the suspension/steering components, hit them all. Maybe even take it by somewhere like Les Schwab or equivelant types of shops for an estimate and parts list, then go off that and customize if needed. Pretty sure you can fit 38's with a 6" lift too.
