It seems that 2017-2018 F250-F350 crew cab long bed 4x4 in a Lariat or better without a diesel are almost non existent. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms? I don't think I am. Anyone else had this problem finding a truck?

It isn't that they don't exist, but they are more rare, and they aren't for sale. I ordered my 2018 exactly how I wanted it, and unless it is stolen or something, I will keep mine for 12 to 15 years.

The thing I'm concerned with is I need bigger tires for the type of off road driving I do so I would need to go way lower in gearing ( high 4.0's ) to compensate and I read somewhere that the housings weren't big enough to fit those gears in. Is that true?

Edit: It was a damn 6' bed.
I'm running 4.88's and 37's. No issues at all. Great combo imo.

hunzekerford's advertised price is lame, but that's what x-plan is for, or just make 'em an offer below invoice, or have your local dealer get it for you and give you a good price.

no doubt koons has some great prices, but its a long way from oregon to baltimore.

Had mine into the dealer last Saturday for a free oil change. Waited for it, so walked around the lot a little bit. First, there was not one single new gas engine superduty on the lot. Second, there was not one single new dually on the lot. And that was in any trim package.

That's a fast way to keep me from getting tempted when I'm bored.

I have 4.88 in my truck. No issues. Running 33 inch tires. Doing 57 at 2000.
