Hey i just was searching ebay and saw a auction for a "bag of air from Hurricane Isabelle." Any of you have any crazy things that could be sold like this? Any ideas? Just curious, this guy made a little of hundred dollars of a zip loc bag. Wonder what else would make some cash???
We live in Suwannee county, FL and the "way down upon the Suwannee" river runs within ten miles of here. My neighbor has bottled the water in pint jars and sold it for $15.00. Anyone want some? $10.00 to FTE members.
ATTENTION MODERATORS AND/OR FTE STAFF:
I am kidding (at least about selling it for $10.00)

That's it, driving up to trinity site (first atomic detonation) and bagging up some sand to sell. $35.00 for a 1 gallon ziploc bag of it. For an additional $10.00 I'll include a delux plastic sand shovel.
There was a guy selling a giant cheeto a while ago. It was like three times the size of a normal cheeto, came straight out of the bag. I think they pulled the auction though, citing a no food rule or something. Not too long after the guy sold a picture of him and the giant cheeto and a close up of the giant cheeto and Ebay had to let him. Theres nothing wrong with selling cheeto pictures.
I guess there was a guy not too long ago who was trying to sell a whole huge load of crack on Ebay. The auction was (*DUH*) pulled and I'm pretty sure they arrested him. I mean, they did have his name, address ect. Bright one, that.
Has any7one notice the one where one person sold to another person three different items? they were a paperclip, pencil, and a pen. I see stuff like this and I start checking their feedback and I actually linked 3 different user names together. So some of this weird stuff is not being sold to just anyone. Its most likley a few people that are doing silly items like this to increase their rating.
I liked the guy that sold $0.01 for $0.93 hahaha. It wasn't even a special year or anything he just had some really well worded bogus ad and the buyer looked real (that was the sad part)
I've been wanting to sell my dad on Ebay for a while now.
"I have for auction one (1) authentic James P. Schear. He is a 2 star Admiral who collects low-budget foreign horror films. He is in good condition, low mileage. Somewhat surly and easily agitated. Fights dirty. Buyer pays shipping."
I read that one guy tried to sell his lifetime collection of fingernail clippings but ebay pulled it because you can't sell any human parts. I just read on another thread about someone selling the box his gameboy came in for $300 in a clearly worded ad.
I saw another ad for a pair of scissors that were touted as " Scissors I ran with". They were just those cheap little kindygarten kind that you buy for 49 cents and they had like 5 bids to almost $3.00.
Funny this subject has come up. The other day I was speaking to my brother and he mentioned he was filling a refridgerator full of pop at his shop and noticed that one of the 20 oz mountain dews/ mellow yellow had dark pop in it so either coke/ pepsi in it. I mentioned put it on ebay and see what you can get, someone out there is always collecting odd ball items. Who knows
