Just my opinion, but those look as useful as the lmc holders. I’m digging the ones in the first 2 posts. Something sturdy enough to hold a heavy cup

Any good examples of cup holders from you guys?

I'm pretty sure mine will be heavy duty enough!

Yo OP, care to share the specs on this build? I’m digging it. Looks sturdy and even like that it’s removable

These are widely available, can be stashed under the seat when not in use, and come in a variety of colors.

Sure. Top piece is 13" x 6". Each end piece is 6" x 5.75" And the two 4" steel pipes, are each 6" long.

Naw, I want stockish in my built. If not I would buy a bench that has them built in. Still looks almost period. If not may want to consider the hidden hotrod style , but you'd have to mold them into dash if you want not to see them. Color matched I think it would work.

I had an old one made from plastic and the bottom of the holder broke off and I watched my can fall through it and almost fall through my shifter hole for the 4 speed due to the lack of my boot

I have used these in several of my trucks. They only work if you have carpet and can be easily removed if you need to free up space for extra passengers in the middle. The weight of the cups hold it down and none of the 3 I've owned have spilled. Any parts stores or Walmarts have them.
