Another opportunity

We have another opportunity for a get together, this month. The annual Southern Delaware Street Rods Association will be hosting their Hot Rod Jamboree, June 28 and 29, at the Harrington Fairgrounds. This is another family friendly event and is generally the biggest car show in the state. Attendees come from all the surrounding states and more.
I will be there, both Friday and Saturday. There are always some beautiful cars and trucks and Fords seem to be very popular. Come on out, enjoy the show, bring a chair and have a sit down with me and a few friends. Kids love these shows, because of the noise, colors and excitement. If you can only make one day, make it Saturday. All the cars will be there and you will spend at least 3 hours, just looking at them.

Sorry unable to attend due to being short handed at work again. Maybe we will get someone hired by the end of the year.

Gotta keep trying, Bud. I know there will be a couple Ford trucks at the Meding tailgate, so I'll have an opportunity to talk with them and maybe et them to stop by, or join. The same goes for the big jamboree. I know a few guys, with Fords, that are member so the SDSRA. I'm going to try to convince them to join FTE and the De Chapter. Even if I don't recruit anyone, I will have tried. That's all that can be done.

I guess, if the weather holds, we'll find out tomorrow. I know there are some members who live within 40 miles, or less. It would be nice to have a good showing. Meding's does a, "Ford night", each year. We try again then too.
