I have an ECU from a 1994 F150 5.0 with a bad cap.
I can repair the board if I could tell where the traces were supposed to go.
Does anybody have a schematic or a picture of that the traces are supposed to look like?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Subford,
There are three traces that converge under the negative side that have come off and I'm trying to figure out if they are connected.
There's not enough left of what came off with the cap to tell.
I've got the traces that are there cleaned up, straightened up and tinned. Two of them appear to go to empty component spaces but with multi layered boards it's hard to tell.
Thanks again
Randy
This is what I've been able to puzzle out so far.
These three traces are connected to the negative pad under the cap.
These are the remnants of the negative terminal showing what appear to be trace material that connects the two side traces.
Subford, that second picture almost shows what I'm talking about.
