Weird headlight question
I have marsauto LED headlights.
When lights or on low beam and I pull out switch for fog light to come on my low beams get brighter.
Wandering if anyone might know why ?
Recovered 6 days later.
Insurance spent $12500. Fixing front end stuff.
Some of it may have been wear and tear stuff. But almost everything on front end is new.
Had body shop remove ranch hand bumper that got bent . And put my factory bumper back on.
I have the ranch hand at home . With the led fog lights in it.
I just haven't moved them to factory bumper yet.
They were cheap ones I bought at tractor supply. And Len's turned yellow.
I guess I need to get wife to turn fog lights on and off while I look at headlights .
Maybe I can see why there get brighter.
Anyhow, I believe your LED's are in backwards. In other words, If you take a look at your LED's bulbs as they are installed, they should have the ability to rotate 180*. You might have to push them in slightly, then rotate them. Once you do this, you should see that now when you turn on your low beams, they should light as normal, then hit you high beams, and you should see them turn on and function normally as well.. Now, the missing Fog's that another question all together. Let us know if this works.
On Edit; I just looked up the lights that you bought, and they do not have the ability to rotate. So forget my earlier post. I did read the reviews under the lights that you bought, and it appears that this company has had many issues with their LED's and or wiring. I read the reviews of the LED's and it seem many folks have had similar problem to yours as well. You can try to repair the issues, but I suspect it's just bad wiring. If your really sold on LED bulbs for your buckets, look into TRS lighting. They are a little pricey by most standards, but the quality is superior to any on the market that I've seen.
