I just acquired a 67 F100 base model truck that was last driven in late 1993.
I have already begun removing and cleaning components prior to "first start-up".
I am using this truck to teach my 8 and 10 year old boys all the fundamentals of a vehicle.
Instead of explaining things on late model cars, I am using this to teach them brakes, suspension, fuel delivery, ignition, internal combustion, cooling, etc.
I look forward to reading many of the old posts to learn all I can about the F-series. (I'm a lifelong 67 Chevelle/Elko man.)

Thanks for having my sons and me!

Please ask questions in the 1967/72 F100 and larger truck forum, where you'll discover that 1967's have dozens of one year only parts not shared with 1968/72's, even though 1967/72's look about the same.

. . . on the bright side: The boys will learn even more, and they'll know about special 1967 stuff decades younger than you did. NumberDummy's info is news to me as well, and a big part of why I enjoy these forums. There's always stuff to learn.
