Planning on working on the motorhome this weekend. Getting the roof ready for a fresh coat of sealant. Need to pull the washer out and figure out what broke on it and get that on order. Flush the antifreeze out of the fresh water system and sanitize the holding tank. Check and make sure all the appliances and stuff still works. Thinking of upgrading to a digital thermostat on one of the AC units. A few minor fixes here and there.
Side job got completed today. Bosses jeep got done... Living room almost done.
Down time is for when Im finished with the major projects.
House, almost done. Family comes in to town in 2 weeks, that will speed it up to almost finished status quick.
Dakota, needs to be lowered and painted, I just need a good weekend
Ford, when family comes its coming to the house to get finished.
Waiting on a valve kit to come in so I can fix the pressure washer water pump. The house and sidewalks need cleaning bad so I can't wait to get that thing going again. Still need to paint the side porch and other various other little home projects.
Happy Fathers Day !!
Yesterday I spent 4 hrs on the roof of the RV scrubbing it by hand so I can recoat it today. It sure would have went a lot faster with a pressure washer. I woke up at 2 AM this morning with my arms aching. Let the morning dew burn off and then I am going to start laying down the roof coating. Having it white again I am sure will sure help keep the inside cooler. We found some peel and stick backsplash tiles we are thinking of doing in the motorhome.
My new tag I ordered off of Amazon for the front of the motorhome came in yesterday. The wife thought it was going to be cheesy but she said it turned out cute. I also picked up a Georgia flag to hang on the awning.
I have the antifreeze purged out of the freshwater tank. Just need to put in my bleach and fill the tank. I am about 50 percent done putting the lap sealant over all the joints and then I can start putting the coating down. It's already smoking hot on top of that black roof.
Fresh coat of nice white coating! Didn't do a before shot, the whole roof was black rubber and never resealed.
Between working on the motorhome and taking little man swimming my back is so sunburnt.
Called a buddy of mine about getting the drain pipe replaced under the driveway, he estimates it will be about half of what I was expecting it would cost.

Still super slow at work.
We have an environmental inspection today and the regional service manager is coming tomorrow. My buddy has the new drainage pipe on order so hopefully we can get that done soon. Going with plastic so I don't have to worry about it rusting out again.
Got an email for the REV parts group this morning, they now own the Fleetwood brand of motorhomes and they have the little gas strut that goes on the bottom of the entry door in stock. Mine was completely worn out and the door just swings around freely. I ordered one this morning so one more thing I can take off the list.
Work picked up a little but not where I would like it to be.
Our chinaberry tree took more storm damage, Got some firewood out of it an hauled off 450 lbs of small limbs.
Went on the roof of the RV to check it out and the coating looks and works great. Bringing some tools from work to pull the washer/dryer combo out and see what is wrong with it. I think the water pump is bad. I have been checking out slide out cover material so I can buy one. The material is around 100 bucks and was missing and when I bought the RV. The new gas shock for the entry door will come in on Monday. I need to wash it again, when I cleaned the roof all that black gunk stuck to the sides.
