Right now I have Goodyear Wranglers p265/76/15's and i hate them...they ride horrible and hydroplane even worse. I was wondering if any of you have experience with these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes
I also wanted to upgrade to 31/10.5's and was wondering if i'd experience any rubbing issues or if would be worth it to get this size or stick with what i have. btw i have a 95 xlt that is completely stock.
thanks
You shouldn't have any rubbing issues at all. I have a 93 that is stock and I run 31x11.50's which have never rubbed. I have not used those tires, but I ran Bridgeston Dueler A/T's for almost 2 years and loved them.
I installed a set of these on my Daughters '85 Ranger last fall. I have to say, they are the best I have had or heard tale of for this type of tire. We live up here in the interior of Alaska where the temps dip into the -40's.... Never had a problem with flat spots after sitting over a long cold weekend.. great in the snow and ice... little to NO road noise.. great wear... I could go on and on. Now, dont think that because a girl drives it that it is babied or coddled. She gets out in to the muck and mire of wilderness Alaska and hangs with most... and when she isn't, Dad is.
