engine oil question

engine oil question
When I had my 2003 Dodge diesel I was using Castrol Enduron 15w40 in it and it seemed to work very well...
I only have alittle over 1000 miles on my new 6.0l PSD so I'm not needing an oil change right this second but was wondering if any of you with more experience with the 6.0l might have an opinion regarding whether or not you think it would be a good idea for me to use the enduron 15w40 in my Ford.
