Electronic or Fuel Problem?
I am having a problem with my 1988 F-150 w/ a 302. In the morning after it has sat all night or longer, when I start the truck it revs high, nad then drops fast and stalls or chokes really bad. Then when I start it again, it revs higher than normal, or higher than it used to (about 1800 RPM'S) then it slowly drops down to a normal idle at 700 RPM'S. I am confused as to what this is, i don't know a lot about computer modules and EFI, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.- My throttle often sticks at about 2500 rpm's and it doesn't just do it once, it is for extended periods of time, any clues as to what it is, are these problems linked to each other, again, thanx.

Electronic or Fuel Problem?
My throttle doesnt stick at all (maybe lube the cable?), but I have the same choke on my idel, only the first time I start it though. I have the 4.9, but my truck seems fine if I mash it, before it can die out, but everytime I start it, it revs, then lowers to regular idle.
