What I don't get is why someone thinks they deserve a PCO (which stands for Private Cash Offer), just because Johnny Snowflake in the next county over got one. This entitlement culture is mind-numbing. At least Ford appears to be figuring out how to turn some extra profit from it.
You can download them from the site immediately. "Find all the manuals, owner manuals and guides for your 2019 Ford® Super Duty all in one place. Request a brochure by mail--or download it immediately."
Never, anywhere, in my post did I say that I deserve a PCO and I agree with you the entitlement culture is mind-numbing and it pisses me off. I don't think I deserve one over anyone else. Now, if I could somehow manage to get one, yeah, that would be nice. But I don't feel I deserve one.
I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to earn a PCO. Be that take test drives, ask for brochures, call weekly to Ford marketing and ask for an update on my status and if they would put my name in the hat again. I'm willing to put the time in do earn one, but my time is valuable too.
That guy was nothing but a waste of bandwidth. It's probably a good thing I was down for health reasons when he ran his mouth off about me being out of line, especially when his only reason for being here was to sell hacked PCO's at a very hefty profit for himself.

I hate to troll but also don't like misleading information.
Wikel was not "selling" he was able to generate and help people save money.
At least towards the beginning, as I received a pco from him. 9 out of 10 people will generate a PCO just because its natural to want a discount. 7 out of those 9 will probably not get a chance to use it.
There was another person that was recently "selling" PCOs that was NOT on the Forum, at least he didn't post it was him doing it.
I however paid a small fee to save $3,500 as I was in process of purchasing (now I own a 2019 platinum F150). I completely agree its NOT right to sell a free service, but on the other hand you're paying for your skill of what you know.
I had many forum members help, but please do ALL of the members a favor and dont ask to generate 1 if you're not committed to buy
Absolutely man. I clicked the hell out of that site trying to get one myself. But that's a lot different from using someone else's, which Ford extended to them based on their own criteria. No?
I totally agree with you. I wouldn't pay someone to create one for me, or whatever was going on, but i sure would take some help/guidance as to how to get one to pop up on my screen so i could do it.
Whether you get money for it or not, obtaining a PCO offer for someone else is borderline fraudulent. FTE and IB do not want to be in the middle of it.
As for users that were banned, we do not discuss moderator actions. The users have an appeal process available if they feel they were banned in error.
I was only aware of one person who claimed to have a source that could generate them and I can somewhat understand wanting to separate the forum from that activity. However, sharing a link that randomly pops up on your screen could be seen as exploiting a flaw in a marketing system, but is in no way illegal, not even borderline. Others on here were simply continuing to see these pop ups but had no intention of purchasing, not in the market, so they took the time to register it to another individual. The pop ups aren't specific to you and only you, it's a blank registration form.
By passing that offer over to individuals who actually were in the market was a win for Ford and the person who recieved the savings.
...could be seen as exploiting a flaw in a marketing system, but is in no way illegal, not even borderline....
Even if one is lying and providing false info on geographic location in order to get the pop-up to appear? And then when that lie is perpetuated by typing in someone else's info? You believe that's not even 'borderline' fraudulent, eh? I disagree with you.

I dont understand what you are trying to say. Have you ever even had these pop up for you? They pop up while on Facebook, Nada, dealer sites, all over the place and when they do it's a blank registration form, no need to lie about anything. That link can be copied and pasted and will continue to open until it doesn't. That's a marketing flaw, not fraudulent.

Oh, so they pop up for everyone, repeatably? My bad. Those hundreds of other guys who've never seen one must just be smoking crack or something.

Show me where I said that. You obviously have never received one and have some bitterness over that. I have, and as far as I know it wasn't from me stating a geographic location, and definitely not from lying. What I do know, is after seeing the first one it kept popping up while browsing all types of sites. I also know that they have a link associated with it, that link could be shared with you, or some guy in Florida with the same results, a blank registration form that is filled out with your info, including your geographic location. Where is the lie or fraud in that scenario? There isnt one, just a marketing flaw in the sense that it is a reusable link.

Prove that it's a reusable link and that everyone who legitimately got their own PCO pop-up had the same link. You're assuming the URL's aren't/weren't unique. If it were as you say and this was all completely legit, then I'll ask the question again: "Why was all the super secret squirrel crap necessary?" This has been fun and all but it's a waste of time at this point. The only opinions in all of this that truly matter are Ford's and FTE's.
Dude, you are rediculas. I never said that everyone who recieved a pop up had the same url, but the links to the pop ups I had and that have been shared publicly on here have been reusable by others all over, in various geographic locations. Cant really prove it at this point cause they die eventually, but if I get anymore pop ups I'll be sure to let you try the link.

I never once had to log into a different location to obtain, I took the link that was posted, cleared my cookies/website data, went into incognito mode on chrome and boom there was the pop up. Nothing illegal was done. once I had that popup I could put anyones information in, it did not give a **** where I was or who I was. I could do the same thing with safari and private browsing. they always came up. I think youre splitting hairs/being a little ridiculous on what was legal. I know ford got a sale from me(my truck is on order), I cant speak for the people I helped get one but I really think youre exaggerating what we did. nothing illegal was done. marketing flaw? I doubt it, ford has x number of PCOs they are going to give out via pop up, once that number was reached the link died it was that simple, and X number they are going to send to people via email(these are registered to a specific person) the pop up ones are not. For the record I could not generate the pop ups on 2 of my laptops but had no issue on my 3rd one and no issue using my phone.

Not trolling, no worries.
Yea, AKWarbird corrected me above and I acknowledged it, plus JHForman did the same. I was confusing a couple of user names registered by the same person, thinking blwnsmoke was one of them.
I would edit the post and correct myself so as to be less "grrrr" (if you get my drift ), but I don't wanna appear to be hiding my mistake like it didn't happen.
