My instrument cluster light labels in the bezel are mostly missing (blinkers, high beam, etc.)
The truck came with a donor bezel but its labels are not for an 80 so I have to swap 4 of the 6. The labels appear to be glued and I’ve had zero success salvaging them to date.
JY has an 80 bezel complete with labels in the right order. The wood grain look is junk though. Anybody ever successfully remove the light label insert from the bezel? I can’t tell how it’s secured in there and didn’t want to get too aggressive as I don’t want to tear up what I have just yet.
I haven't had much luck. I've been collecting these damn things. I didn't even realize that there was a different order for the 80 lights until I got the bezel home and they were wrong for my truck. I have put some extra glue on the backs of the labels to reinforce them.... Hopefully....
I have a bezel that someone painted 2 different times. I was able to strip the paint off the bezel but the lights above be came clearish.
I have been thinking if a arts & craft store would have the colored part and maybe rub off letters and symbols to make new ones.
Other than thinking about it that is as far as I have gone as my truck is still not on the road yet.
