It should start up and run fine as long as the cam position sensor wasn't "moved" out of the engine, because all the computer does is look for that break in the crankshaft timing ring and it does all the calculations. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're asking or not, need any more info, hit me an e-mail if I don't reply back quick.
