I have a 1987 E350 Carbureted 460 and for the second time the cruise control module has stopped working. Both times, the diaphram developed a leak after a couple of years of use. The local Ford dealer wants $132 (again). Does anyone know of a discounted dealer for a replacement? I'm considering a junk yard unit, if I can find one that holds vaccuum. When I went to the local yard, the counterman said "part numbers are important". I found a bunch that look like mine and hold vaccuum, but none with the exact part number. Any info on part numbers would be helpful too. Thanks
Ken
I would definately go for a junkyard unit, as long as the cable end that goes to the carb is the same i dont see why anyone one off a later model truck wouldnt work, i wonder why you keep poping the diapham, if your still uncertain if it will work try a hollander interchange manual, available in reference section of most libraries
