Depends on how good or bad the fuel is from your local station and their distributor. If you are lucky and have a local station that sells trick stuff with boosted cetane and added lubrication already in it then it is probably waste of money. But you never really know what you are getting if you move around a lot other than the minimum cetane for on-highway fuel has to be at least 40 I believe. I have read that 60 is ideal.
