There is a special tool on amazon that’s used to unbind dullay rims. It’s basically a long bolt with two large metal blocks on it. You insert the blocks between the rim and brake pad and turn the bolt. The rim pops right out.
any high volume tire shop should have this. If they don’t, it’s unlikely they will have the rest of the tools needed suck as the special disk that goes over the larger fully rim hole so that it can be properly balanced.
It puts a question in my mid if I have to provide a shop the speacil tools they need to get the job done.

take it to a truck shop.
I had the same thought. After the whole galvanic corrosion/valve stem issue, it just further cemented that for my dually, no one but the dealership and me touches it. Thankfully, we have a great dealer here.

OP is looking for ideas on how to pop off decorative hub cap on rear duallies. It can be difficult without marring up the hub cap or rim so many of us have made various tools to pop it off without damage.
Ratchet strap and one of the longest metal bars in the tire change kit.
Gotta find the right ratchet straps that have hooks that will fit into the hub cover slots.
For me its the safest way to remove them without damaging the chrome plated plastic. Any other tool can slip out of the slots causing damage.
