Hi there.
I only do retail PDR. I DONT get involved with insurance fraud scamming brokers like you are working for. Its not my fault you work for a greedy broker. It sound more like your upset with the deal your at.

I am a 2 person retail only PDR guy now. I learned my lesson working for brokers. They made me angry like you seem to be.
I invested in my own tent own equipment and its my prerogative to charge lower prices to obtain work and HELP people out financially bc I sir am not greedy as you appear to sound.

Im not anywhere near you and not affecting the set price of the wholesale deal you are at.

I have fixed cars for people without coverage for hail damage and charged them zero $0. From what you have said here, fixing some one down on their lucks car for free would make you want to kill me? Thank you for proving my previous post true.

Compassion and kindness will go a lot farther in life then always grabbing for the next big insurance check from people who did not ask for the hail damage on their vehicles.

Taking advantage of people is never kind. Giving a few hundred-a thousand dollars off a retail car depending on the adjusted damage value is not a scam nor does it reflect the quality of my work. You also sound like the greedy tech that would charge your own mother a deductible. Ive met your kind. And your the exact guy i was warning people about.

If your working a wholesale deal, then your fixing cars for way less money, which goes against your own ideology.
Stop the greed and bring some dignity back to the PDR industry, please.

To get on here and tell people that unless the pdr tech is willing to eat the deductible and give a 10-20% kick back you should run away is ridiculous! I say the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! PDR is an art form that requires extreme attention to detail, and just like EVERYTHING else in life you get what you pay for. You “kick back” dent guys should be ashamed. Sorry sir but its “dent guys” like you, that do ANYTHING to make a dollar, that are the ones that are KILLING this industry. Your telling me that you are going to go push 500+ dime to double over with R&I on aluminum panels on modern vehicles and you are going to eat a 1000 dollar deductible AND give that kind of “kick back” just to get it in the door? And what door are you running that through? The small 2 bay shop that you you just rented that the owner now wants 5 grand a month for that was for rent for 1500 a month 24 hours before the hail storm hit? Thats tuff to cover eating deductibles and giving a (pardon me while i projectile vomit in my mouth) 20% kick back. To ANYONE reading this that give a **** about their vehicle, dont walk away from the kick back guys RUN. There is a reason it is cheaper. Fly by night traveling dent guys that conduct business in this manner are a BAD DEAL. They will butch it up, and be gone in a week. Im in houston right now fixing $1400 cars wholesale at a high line dealership for $400 because of all of the kick backs and throat slitting. SICK TO DEATH OF IT. This is my first day off in three weeks and every bone in my body is killing me and i get on here and read this and it makes me want to PUKE. Hang on just a second bud....

whaaaa, take a breath, you seem a little high strung.

No sir. Until you work in the industry and sit and push dents all day either wholesale or retail you will have no idea.

Being that there is still a lot of warranty left on the truck, I’m also considering one of the Ford Collision centers. Anyone ever used one of those?

My wife's Camaor was destroyed in a hail storm here in Utah. No one in Utah could fix it, or even wanted to try to fix it. This is a beautiful, loaded 550 HP car.

The auto body shop ended up flying in a crew from Houston to repair it. They repaired over 110 hail dents. It's amazing. You would have never known it was even damaged. Zero bondo. I don't know the company that flew in, but I can find out if you like.
