Indiana is dead

Well I've been away from FTE for a few months and upon my return I am sad to see that Indiana Chapter appears to have died while I was gone.

RIP Indiana chapter of FTE

Not Dead!

It's not dead just everyone has a lot going on. I been remodeling my house, working 10-12 hr days at work pretty much up to this point.
Only have 6 more windows to change out and 3 sides to reside with the hardi board.

As for my truck. It's in pieces as of this weekend. Was not my plan... Started out with an oil change and filters. The fuel filters was not packaged correctly and the O-ring kit was missing. So had to go back to the store. Figure I would get new rear rotors and pads since mine were noisy. Non of the part stores near me have the pads. I found some pads and headed back to the shop. Got the rotors and pads on, did my burn in runs. Started to head home and hear the pads rub the rotor when I turn and hit bumps. Got up Sunday and drove to church so I could go straight back to the shop. Picked up some calipers just in case I need them.. Got the truck up on jack stands and figure good time to rotate tires. I got the back ones moved up to the front and mounted. Started the truck up and put it in gear and watched the rotors go round. Discovered my driver side rotor is warped. Went and got the rotor changed out. rubbing noise is gone for the moment will know more once I get truck back on the ground and road worthy. I figure since I was having such a great day I'll try to figure out which pulley is squeaking. Well I managed to break my belt during the process. But did find I have 2 bad pulleys. one is an idler pulley and the other is the AC clutch pulley.

That is my drama at the moment.. Oh did order 08 mirrors they should show up this week. hopefully I can get it all back together before next Monday. Have a camping trip planned the following weekend.

I have done some upgrades since purchase of this truck. Blue fuel spring, 8 new injectors, new up pipe, new 4" straight pipe, 40 Atlas Ficm, EGR delete, and tuner with gearhead tunes.

Been busy with an 1888 Victorian, all 3,300 sq ft of her. A very demanding home that keeps me busy. Finally had the time to mount a Curt #14001 Class IV receiver to my truck. BTW, don't believe the instructions when they say some holes line up so just drill them out; they don't line up. This is the third one I've done, none of them came even close. Now I can tow the boat to do some fishin' that can't be done from the inaccessible backs.

I have been a member of FTE for 15? years and our chapter has been very light on activity as long as I can remember.
I even check in very seldomly over the years.

Sad to say it's not the only one, a lot of FTE Chapters are dead too.
