Had a question for you all. I have a 2016 SD XLT regular cab, 6.2 liter with 2850 miles. I use it only to tow a 1800lb aluminum trailer. It’s always been stored properly, and it just had its 6th oil change.
Was wondering what the value of this vehicle would be?
I am the original owner, purchased it new
not what you expect... not with 2,800 sitting miles..
my opinion.
with or without all the choices in trim and electronic packages.. you need to do the research.. kbb.com or others... nada.com
or is it a driven 28,000 miles ....??????
No, it’s actually 2,800 miles. As far as it “sitting”, it is takin out 1/2 times weekly to get engine/transmission hot. I believe that a vehicle just sitting there is the worst thing one can do for it.

For a diesel, yes. For the gasser I don't think it matters as long as you park them nice and hot. Add a battery minder and you're good to go for a long long time. Keep the oil clean helps too (which you did).
Sounds like you could do with a half ton easily.
Around here it probably go for 28K. Trade in much lower.
Recently bought a 2016 F350 6.2 CCSB with 27k on the odometer. Ended up at about $33k as a certified pre-owned deal. (12 extra months factory warranty and powertrain warrantied 7 years or 100k) I'm sure the warranties are baked into the price, but thought I'd throw my deal up as an example for a 2016 SD.
I'd agree with the others suggesting to look it up on kbb.com to get a better idea of what to expect for value.
