Question 1975 F-250

I am in the market for a truck to build into a welding rig. Recently I came across a 1975 single cab flat bed F-250, it has a 360 and a 4 speed trans. with 90,000 miles on the motor. The odd thing is that the truck is a dually. I didn't know that 3/4 ton trucks ever got the dual rear wheels? Is the motor and trans reliable? Does the motor make good power?

Any advice would be great,Thanks!

That truck is solid gold you won't find anything better for a work truck IMHO. Very good engine & transmission for what you want to do
