gear ratio

Where can I find the rear axle gear ratio. The tag on the door is blank in the axle space.

2000/F-250/XLT/4X4/PSD/6 Spd/Longbed

On an F250 you should have 3.73's.

Check the tag on the axle look for 3.73, 3L73, 4.10, or 4L10. The "L" indicates limited slip.

Sport45 is correct about the axle tag. Often the first number of the ratio is under the bolt head. So if you see just 73 or 10 on the bottom line of numbers it is 3.73 or 4.10.

Without even looking, you have the 3.73 as powerstroker250 said. That's the only option for a PSD in an F250 or F350 SRW in the newer trucks.
