Cruise Central????

Hi guys. I made a trip to the coast on Thursday and was surprised to see the construction and changes @ Centennial Plaza AKA Cruise Central for CTC. Does anyone know where cruise central will be located now? With all the construction taking place there, I don't think there is enough room for cruise central anymore. What have y'all heard?? Steve

Haven't heard anything. Haven't even looked at the 2019 CTC web site yet.

How you doing Mr. B?

Nothing is showing up on the CTC website but I don't see how or where they could locate their big tents and vendors. Beach front entrance is completely changed now and waterslides are where spectators normally park. Sure is gonna be strange not gathering up under the oaks on the old VA Center grounds but progress must move on. Sad!! I'm doing great and thanks for asking. May try to make the show at Atwood Water Park in Monticello next weekend (25th). Should be a good one. Hopefully I can get back to my current project soon ('55 Chevy 210). Make them run and have some fun!! Steve

We had our last GTG on the corner last year too. Gator insisted he'll have something else for us somehow.

Really liked that place. Was even better when we had the lot with the oaks too that one year.

I heard a report tonight on WLOX Channel 13 news in Biloxi about Centennial Plaza. They said the owners of the property are working with CTC officials to keep this site as cruise central. With all the new construction I don't see how that's possible but that is the latest news. We'll see. Later Steve

The July CTC newsletter says we will still be at centennial plaza. As full as that lot gets on Monday thru Wednesday I can't see how but time will tell. I am already registered. I plan to be down on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I go home (110 miles) each night since most Motels want a 3 night minimum after they've jacked their rates up for the week. All my gas is cheaper than 1 night in a Motel. Works for me. Later, Steve
