I started a similar tread on this back in October of 2018. I really don't care for the black bug deflector that is available from Ford. It looks good on the lighter colors but I prefer a chrome one since my new truck will be the Agate Black. Are there any chrome ones out there that have Super Duty embossed in them? I can't seem to find any.
Nice looking chrome bug deflectors! I wish that i had purchased one while they were available but I procrastinated too long. Do these deflectors mount tight to the hood, with double sided tape...like the Aeroskin do (I believe)? Or are they held on by brackets inside the hood, and then held away from the outside of the hood with silicone bumpers?
Just picked up the last one here in Columbus, OH yesterday with the same mounting that SCOTTx88 just mentioned. The parts guy said there was one in Toledo but didn't mention the dealership. Meterman1993 thx for starting the thread again as I made it my top priority on my "Things to Get for the Truck" list.
Chrome ones are discontinued. You will have to find one at a dealership old stock. Id call the Toledo dealerships and see if as Stormryder said, there’s one in stock. Get it before it’s gone.
They look great and work very well to keep bugs off the painted hood and prevent paint chips on the lead edge of the hood. Bugs still get in windshield.

Occasionally you may see one come up on eBay but as I stated earlier I would call the Fird dealers in Toledo area if one was reported as having it in stock.
