I am trying to figure out if my newly acquired 66 F100 is painted with the factory colors that were offered in 1966; if so, what are the color names (body colors, wheels)? Unfortunately, all of the potentially identifying information was lost to Hurricane Harvey. You'll notice in the photo of the driver's door, there are holes where the Warranty Plate would have been located. Any help is appreciated.
A Hurricane Harvey survivor! Unfortunately, there were two collector BMWs, and some employee vehicles that did not survive...
It could be COLOR code BM: B = Caribbean Turquoise / M = Wimbledon White
With these exterior paint colors, the BODY code could be 381 or 481.
381: 3 = Medium Green Crush Vinyl & Medium Green Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
481: 4 = Medium Beige Crush Vinyl & Medium Beige Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81A Standard Cab.
The anodized grille on your '66 was used with Custom Cabs, but your truck doesn't have Custom Cab: windshield reveal mouldings, sweep speedo instrument cluster, horn ring, door panels, Custom Cab nameplates.
So, IMO, it's not a Custom Cab. The chrome bumpers were optional on all, though yours were probably painted white originally.
It's hard to tell from a photo, but the white seems to match the whitewall. That indicates it's not Wimbledon white, but "refrigerator" white, which Ford called Pure white in '66.
I don't think that was available in a two-tone. Lovely truck no matter what!

FTE member camperspecial65 had the rarest of the rare: COLOR code CM .. C = Pure White / M = Wimbledon White
The thing is, the OP's truck has been repainted, so what shade of white was specified? Pure White, Wimbledon White, or did the shop just paint it any 'ol white?
Thanks, I will enjoy, as is. That color combination is what I was thinking. Anticipate using in local parades, car shows, as a photo prop for our small events venue (Cottage Charm @ The Romack House), etc.
Frustrating that the previous owner in-law can't provide any information about...when, where (only that some small home-based body shop in Mora, NM) 'restored' it...still trying to track prior ownership through NM MVD.
4 on the floor could be a New Process 435 (reverse is down-towards the seat) or Warner T-18 (reverse is up-towards the dash).[/QUOTE]
Is the 435 a 250 thing or did they use them in f100's to. My 66 250 has the 435 and my 100 has the T-18.
