Interesting issue has come up with my truck. The passenger side brake light is staying lit up when there is no braking occuring. I have LED bulbs installed from VLEDs, the bulb outage warning has been disabled in the vehicle computer. I just replaced the top socket about a week ago, the connector was full of water and one prong in the connector had corroded off. I dried the connector out, had to push a piece of the old prong into it so the new one would fit. It was working fine then and I had though all was well until I drove it home from work tonight and the things stayed lit, top and bottom. Before I replaced the socket, they were staying lit obviously, and I also noticed playing with the cruise control made them flicker. No luck with that tonight. Also, the light switch is set to auto. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
