My truck was made 06/05. It’s in great shape but my steering wheel is super loose because I just got a brand new driveshaft put in because one day I just couldn’t turn at all. This steering wheel turns with the slightest touch now; can’t get used to it. Besides that, it feels like someone put spf15 on it. I literally have zero grip on it due to wear. I thought I’d go out and buy a “Ford” steering wheel cover. I decided to put it on yesterday by keeping it on the dash and letting the sun hit it. I put it on easily and I’m just wondering about it now. It feels a bit slippery and this is my first steering wheel cover purchase in my life. Do you have any recommendations out there for this? I’ve also been wanting seat covers for the truck. I have the grey XLT interior and it’s not those neat two toned ones either. I’d be happy with a Lariat interior for sure! I’d take the King Ranch’s over that though! Very cool background story on how Ford got in touch with them. If you have any recommendations on steering wheel covers/ seat covers I’d greatly appreciate it. I do not own those WeatherTech mats; I just can’t swing that price.
Not really any cheaper than weathertech, but dayum they look good. Definitely something to consider if you ever trade it in. Dealers love that kind of ****. I also want weathertech, but cannot justify the extra loot on interior stuff with all the exterior stuff I am currently doing. Possibly in the future. My family has had them for every truck they owned for as long as I can remember, and they are wonderful. Well worth the investment especially in our trucks where it's very easy to get those floors destroyed.
