chances are you will need to have a custom drive shaft made to your application, or have the forward driveshaft from the 74, modified for your truck. You may be able to use the rear shaft from the 66, but the 74 shaft has a larger diameter and you might prefer that. Those are my recollections from when I made the same swap, but measuring will show you what you need to do.
