Installing bed plate and rear seal?

OK, I have my new seal and bed plate gasket. When I removed the bed plate I left the HPFP cover on the top of the engine and slid it out. The cover gasket stayed in place and the cover came off with the seal still pressed in it. I am getting ready to reinstall the bed plate and press the new seal in. One thing I noticed is there are no alignment pins for the bed plate. I can reinstall and then try to install the rear seal. So, my question is should I wait to tighten the bed plate bolts until I have the new seal pressed in or should I go ahead and tighten the bedplate bolts and the press the seal. It seems to me that there could be enough of a misalignment with just the bolts that the new seal may not be centered.

Do I have a concern or am I OK to tighten the bed plate bolts? I only ask as I know I have to add some RTV at a couple of points and don't want to let it set up too hard before the new seal is in place.

I got it figured out. I found a couple of pictures online and discovered mine is missing the alignment pins. I have some coming to replace them. I guess someone else has had this off before me.
