All that I know is that:

1.) This is a touchy subject.
2.) Whether I'm white, black, red, or tan, I still bleed red.
3.) We are all equal, and none of us should be higher or lower than the other.

 

So what you are telling us is that when 10 or 20 people from a particular group give you their opinion on that group, you presume they speak for the entire group?

It's a good think you didn't happen to stumble into a group of 10 or 20 KKK members first. Just think what you would be calling 'white people'.

...I for one hate the "Hyphenated american mentality"...to that end I refuse to fill out that little federal form that shows up everywhere...I was born here and I'll most likely die here...America.
....I beleive that we'll never resolve the "rascist" issue as long as we submit to the "Federal Questionaire"...unfortunatley there is to much Federal funding tied to it to ever see it go away...
True story:
a fellow decided to enroll in a night course on basic welding at the local community college, just for the fun of taking the class. No degrees, no loans etc... just for fun.
This fellow, while signing up for the class, questioned the necessicity of some of the forms that were "required" for enrollment...he asked:
...Why do you need to know my marital status?
...Why do you need to know my employment status and income level?
...Why do you need to know my ethnicity?
...Why do you need my social security number?

Well after raising these questions with the registrar and then being referred to the dean and still not receiving a satisfactory reply...This fellow said to hell with it and filled out this form....As a married caucasian male with a 2 income family paid by credit card...

This fellow attended and completed the first semester of class and had a blast...

The 2d semester enrollment rolled around and this fellow went back down to the registar office and filled all the forms out again...only this time, instead of putting caucasian male, he put asian-american male, all else being the same...

Approx. 1 week after registration for the 2d semester, this fellow gets a letter in the mail informing him of the date/time of school orientation...Hmmm, says he...seems they shouldve had oreintation in the 1st semester...so dutifully he attends the school "orientation...The 2 hour orientation consisted of a lecture from an administrater describing in detail all the methods of circumventing the necesscity of paying for our education...it went something like this:...If your a single female call this number and fill out that form, if your a divorce female w/children fill out such and such, if your an ethnic minority go to this place and talk to this person etc etc etc...

From there on out to the end of the course I received on a weekly basis, calls-mail-notifications of all sorts inviting me to jobs fairs, career counseling, student loan options throughout the state...all geared to ethnic minorities

Hmmm...says I...How come I wasnt invited to all these wonderful opportunities when I was a caucasian male...
Its a money thing...no more no less
