i have found progressive to be nice to deal with compared to others, you just have to know how to deal with insurance companys. remember they are in the buisness to make money. as is everyone

Sorry about your accident, as long as you OK, thats all that counts. My dad just blew his engine on his 1970 Formula 400, and probably won't be seeing that for awhile. (well, in running shape that is )

Good luck, and hopefully all will turn out well for ya.

Mike

When my wife got rear ended in her 92 Topaz the jerks insurance company wanted to deduct for all kinds of "pre-existing" damage that was NOT there. Her car was and is in excellent shape. State Farm, our insurance company, told my wife to have it fixed, SF would pay for it and then go after the jerks ins. company. They recovered ALL the cost, and never raised our rates.

State Farm, thats who I have! but I only pay 176 every 6 months for liability, so I am not sure if they would go through all of that for me, but they are some of the most ginuinly nice people I have met in the business world. Got pulled over tonight too, got away with a warning- 83 in a 70- i was in a buddies car- buddy in the back with his gal, and I only had one headlight. Let me off cause I told him I usually drove my truck, and the little cougar got away from me. Those 4.6's have some pep! I see everyoned else having bad experiances with cops latley, and I thought I would remind you guys that some of them are good guys, and the officer that I encountered was cool about everything. Just doin his job.

Hooray! Today the progressive lady came to look at my truck, and told me that it was a total loss, however, I get to keep the title clear, AND I get $675! I only paid $500! So tomorrow I get the insurance, tag and title in my name (was in my dads) and dual exhaust- 2 and a quarter, dumping behind each tire. Horray!!

Did you see a doctor? or Chiropractor ?

You should have, anytime your involved with an auto accident its a good idea to, do it before you sign anything from any insurance comp....that includes your own.

Guy gets treated well by the insurance company and Johnny Cochran comes running with his hand out.

The lady was very nice. At first, she said that it the check would be for $600, then, she made a phone call, and yelled from her little explorer "It's gonna be $675, is that OK??" Hehehehe... And my dad said that they only gave me that much so I would settle and not go after them for medical damages or whatever. I had to sign the paper sayin I wouldnt go back to them. The blue toyota is now totaled- I heard 12000 in damages, and since my chunk of Detroit iron bent her unibody and severly damaged her rear suspension, they decided it would never be like new. I am going tomorrow at 8:30am to get the pipes on my truck. She has been too loud for too long.
