Break-In Period
I guess this 5W-20 can handle it.
Most will recommend not changing to synthetic until you have about 3,000 or so, to let the parts seat themselves etc. I am kind of mixed on this now since many engines come from the factory with syn.
If it were my engine, I would change the oil to syn at 3,000 and then go with 5,000 to 7,500 changes with syn.
But as I recall, you drive in NYC so you probably should go with short intervals and syn may be a waste with such short changes so dino would be worthwhile. Dino is very good, I just have a fetish with syn. I would follow the severe duty instructions or change every 3,000 with dino. If you can't afford the down time, go with syn.
