Rancho Quick Lift Struts

Do any of you have any experience with these replacement Struts ?
If so, how much did they raise the front ?
Did the lift settle over time ?
How is the ride ?

You might want to consider new upper control arms to keep the ball joints from being damaged with the new geometry. I'm saving up for a 2.5" BDS front lift with a 1" in the rear, definitely getting UCA's. Don't want any problems down the road.

2.25” and less don’t need new upper control arms. And if you do get them, you need aftermarket wheels or spacers to clear the new control arm. I think they might work with factory 20s, but you’d have to check with the mfr.

The Quick Lifts will quickly settle 1/2-3/4” so they are not very popular. My son in law and I put them on his last truck, so that’s where my experience comes from.

If you have a brand new truck, why get rid off brand new struts. Just have spacers done and get all new struts when the stock one need replacing.

Only 4k miles. Get a set of Autospring spacers in whatever height you want for around $100. You can also get some Bilsteins, but the highest setting at 2.1” rides kinda rough. The spacers wont change your ride.

Next step up are Halo (F150 Lifts) coil overs at around $800 a pair.

When I was looking at levels I bought a Rough Country 2.5" lift with spacers, UCAs, read blocks and shocks. It was crap. Build quality was so bad I didn't feel comfortable putting it on my truck.

Then I bought Rancho QuickLift struts. They look really good, but I couldn't get them oriented properly in my truck. Maybe it was just me, but for the life of me, they wouldn't go in properly. Returned.

Then I bought the Bilsteins. They went in easy. They're adjustable. You keep your factory springs so you can easily swap setups later. The ride is great. Firm, but good. Better than factory.

What size tires/wheels? Did you still install UCAs?

I've got 275/75/18s right now, and no UCAs. Just the Bilsteins.

I also went with the Bilstein 5100 kit, seems to be the best and most popular entry level level. I like the firmer ride that it provides, my truck doesn't bounce around like it used to . It feels more planted on the road, body roll also isn't as much. I put 22" rims with 33" tires on my truck. I didn't change out the control arms either. People say above 2.5" lift then you have to start worrying about the control arms.
