All the parts came in for the mower, all I have left to install is the new blades. Going to be great to have a nice riding mower for once.
The GM was shocked I had already taken care of letting the guy go when he came in to work. I wasn't going to let him clock in and then fire him. I'm confident my position here is secure as long as I don't do anything stupid to jeopardize it. My boss knows I go above and beyond so no worries there.

It's FRIDAY !!

I fired him yesterday morning. Everyone signs a clause that they are on a 90 day probation period and that we can let them go for any reason. On wednesday my 2 good mechanics stayed after work to complain the guy was not worth keeping. There is a non revenue segment the mechanics can clock in on to still get paid if there is no customer work. For some reason on wednesday he clocked in on it for over an hour when there was plenty of work orders to work on. He was not real motivated either, just took his time doing anything. I gave him a chance but he just blew it.

Today is the daughters 19th birthday! It's hard to believe that a year ago we were going on our cruise. Time sure flies by.

At least you did not let him work all day. Tell your daughter happy birthday. So what the status with her and fiancee?

The knucles next to where the nail went in are swollen and hurts to move. May go to clinic

Sorry to hear the hand is still giving you fits. I'm sure it will take a while to get back to normal.
They are still engaged till my daughter figures things out. I told her to dump him and move on but it's not my decision. My wife told her the same thing. At 27 he just does very childish and stupid things to show how immature he really is. It's still all about him or him and his friends.
Had my monthly review yesterday from corporate and I did great! I got 90% out of 100.
The new lawn tractor cuts like a dream, little man and I mowed about half the property yesterday afternoon. I got the tubing to fix the auto chlorinator for the pool. I am going to try and get the rear view mirrors and the LED kit for the Golf cart installed this weekend. I have to go replace 2 old light switches at the mom in-laws house this weekend too.I also want to install the new suspension air bags on the Hummer. I got a ton of stuff I want to try to do to get caught up on since the weather is nice.

Agree she needs to move on if he 27 and doing stupid stuff. Product of the kinder gentler military not like we went thru. At 27 my son was 6 stepdaughter was 9 had been married to Lexie for 2 years E6.

I am sure the nail messed up a bunch of stuff as it went in. At the joint between index finger and palm went in an inch and a quarter. Lucky did not hit any bone. If is still swollen next week will go back to dr..

Glad the lawn mower is cutting good. What did you do to only get a 90

I don't think I have watched a full race all year.
I got the LED kit mounted under the cart, I can't wait to see how it looks tonight.
I got a few crazy low offers on the boat, I think people don't want to fool with it since it won't start. Ordering a new starter and then going to re-list it.

I'm not going to kill myself, you know I'm use to doing this. I just have to drink a lot of water or tea. Trying to knock out the big stuff before it gets real hot.

thank god i didnt have to go to the doctor, everyone at work kept asking if i needed to go all day wednesday and thursday.
I was at a wedding all weekend long too, with that finger all covered in gauze. everyone kept asking why and what happened. reactions were priceless.
Toady i was able to take the wrapping on and off easily, showed her dad and some others at the girrls house today. grandmas almost fainted haha.

swelling keeps going down gradually
at least the wound has finally sealed itself up, and we can now let it hang freely.

sounds like lots o fun. Been stabbed, and had screw drivers go through the hand, nothing like a nail though

you know the main reason i did not go to the doctor with this finger, was i had a little thc in the system. I work my *** off, the foreman absolutely loves me, and everyone at work is real impress (i get the 411)
But imma be damned if i let a vice of mine kill my rep, so ive quit that, and toughed out the **** till it stopped hurting.
I cant wait till its legalized, I do use it to help with some things. I wish the subject wasnt so touchy everywhere.
and no I never do it during work days. weekend is when i usually do it, once or twice.

Glad to see ole' Georgia boy get a win, I did take a little nap half way thru stage one.
Finished up mounting the underglow LEDs on the cart, they look amazing. The pool chlorinator broke a line mounting thingy, luck for me the wife heard it and I was able to cap it off till I get to the pool store today. It was shooting water 6 feet in the air with the pump running. We took the cart on a long ride yesterday after the race. The wife said I can make reservations to go camping at Disney next fall. I want to see Disney with all the Christmas decorations. We can decorate the cart and cruise around the campground in the cart and see all the decorations. All the videos I have seen the campground is amazing with all the decorations people put up.
