Mustang II front end VS Crown Vic
I know everyone seems to say the Crown Vic front end is better but looking at prices for a new Mustang II front end it seams that Mustang II would be better. I'm sure everyone has an opinion on this but has anybody maybe had one of each or done both and would share theirs. Also with the Mustang II suspension if i do not order it with the Drop spindels how close to the original ride height is it, i'm not really wanting to lower much.
Thanks

Asking if the Crown Vic is better than the Mustang II front end is kind of like asking which brand of oil is best. There are pros and cons for both. Many find the Crown Vic is too wide for a Fridge truck and others say the Mustang II design is bit dated. Just about every manufacturer's Mustang II front end is different than their competitors. Before you spend your hard earned cash on anything, do as much research as you can. As "Thrifty" mentioned, there is a lot of information out there and the only way to see what is best for you is to sift through it. Simply put, there is no all encompassing "best" IFS package. They all have pluses and minuses. You just have to see which one fits your needs the best. Cost, dimensions, ride height, ease of installation and performance are all important considerations. Knowledge is power and the internet is your friend. Good luck!

On mine I went with a mustang 11 front. I looked at both For what I could get a crown vic. front end for Then new brakes , bushings ,shocks, may be a new rack too, the mustang was cheaper. At the time I could only find high mileage cars that were well worn. Also depends on your skill level Bolt in verses welding and fab. work
