Lol, I am quite fond of the ol' dude in fact .

Trying to decide if I'm gonna pull the engine while I'm unemployed this week and fix that leaky freeze plug situation.
Decisions decisions...

what got this started...pass rear leaking like Cody said. No bull there boys. This is the first head plug I can say I have had to do.

the front on the pass head starting...ironically the driver head plugs we're fine and block plugs we're no leaking..all being replaced with brass tho. Not doing this again.

Timing cover gasket looking crusty though I never saw leak..new gasket there too.

The oil pan gasket was squeezing out a bit. I have done enough to recognize that won't get any better so let's just reseal the whole thing lol

Might as well throw on a new timing chain and gears as well as a new rear main seal. Heck, it sure is fun spending other peoples money!

and if you are pulling the timing cover to replace the gasket, might as well put a new water pump on too.
because you know damn well the pump will start leaking 3 days after you get it all back together.

Timing cover is off. Chain is cherry. I planned on needing one but it's just not needed. I would if I had any doubt.
Cody just did a WP so just gaskets and reassemble.

all freeze plugs in block and heads replaced with brass. New oil pan, timing cover, lower intake gaskets.
Once it's hanging the rear main can go in then back in it goes I hope.
